That’s how much time our beloved Kickstarter has to reach it’s goal.  We’ve come pretty far, but it’s still not enough.  Here’s the stats:

• 17: That’s how many days we have left to hit goal.
• 185: That’s how many people have backed the Kickstarter so far.
• 13: That’s the percentage of fans who “Liked” the Kickstarter page that have actually pledged.
• 2: That’s the percentage of fans who “Like” the InvaderCON Facebook page that have actually pledged.
• 12,768: How many dollars we are away from goal (as of this writing.)

Our favorite stat we check each day:

The Kickstarter Panel.
Everyone who purchases their InvaderCON 3 Ticket via the Kickstarter pledge ($45 of higher) will be invited to a special panel during InvaderCON 3: FINAL DOOM featuring a book/script/something reading by Richard Horvitz & Rikki Simons (pending, of course, availability.)  Maybe they’ll read a kid’s book or a script from another series or who knows… but here’s a good idea of what happens when they do these things.

Again: this panel will be EXCLUSIVE to Kickstarter supporters only as a thank you for making the show happen.

Remember, ALL FANDOMS ARE WELCOME!

Dinner will be a hearty meal of healthy and popular foods, potentially including mashed potatoes, sandwiches, hummus, chips & salsa, and more! 

Beverages (including many types of soda) will be available through the VFW; however, alcoholic drinks will be STRICTLY limited and will only be permitted in a sectioned-off 21+ area. All attendees will be wearing armbands that indicate their age, and the bartenders will be carding HARD. No boisterous behavior will be tolerated; if you bother anyone, you WILL be removed.

Charlotte and Jackson will be our DJs for the evening, and will be playing a selection that most definitely includes the Homestuck albums! If you’d like to make suggestions, please do so on the Facebook event’s music thread.

Mimiako will be offering photoshoots during the event — whether you’re dressed to the nines, cosplaying, BOTH, or feel like chillin’ in some comfy clothes, this is your chance to shine! The photo sessions are totally free and will be posted to CTSTL’s facebook and/or tumblr following the event.

Our art team is hard at work making decorations for the event! You too can come up with your own art at our troll-themed drawing and game tables, where you can sketch, decorate playing cards, or play Magic the Gathering, Munchkin, or whatever other games you’d like to bring! These tables will be off to the side, so those of you who aren’t interested in dancing will have a spot to hang out!

And of course, we’ll be building a MASSIVE Can Town — perhaps a Can City? — out of donations. P is for PROM! P is for PASTA! and PADS/TAMPONS, toothPASTE, toilet PAPER, PEANUT BUTTER, and PANCAKE MIX, and if you draw a line on the P it can be for RAMEN! Let’s donate enough ramen that it takes a truck to haul it to the food pantry! Please bring the packages, not the styrofoam cups!

We will also have door prizes, a charity auction, and a raffle to win the Rose Lalonde skull bag from the SEERPACK! Remember, once we cover our costs, EVERY PENNY of the rest of it goes to CAMA’s Helping Hands food pantry!

Chalk your spot will be held on May 11th 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Fort Zumwalt North High 1230 Tom Ginnever Ave., O’Fallon, Missouri 63366

 Each parking spot cost 5$ and 3$ for each spot contestants with more then one spot will still be judged as one spot .More then one contestant will be able to work on a spot at a time.Basic colors of chalk will be available. It’s heavily recommended that you bring your own for a greater visual impact and the limited supply of provided chalk.

Prizes available for first three places, prizes are yet to be decided.
All proceeds are going to Fort Zumwalt North High school’s Anime club.
We will be collecting can donations all donations will be sent to the Corner Stone Methodist church

Essentially this is a drawing contest contestants will purchase a spot and have to draw something according to the theme which is “Unity”.
Judging will occur at 3:30 and will be based on the quality of the drawing and how well it conveys the theme.

This is ALEX, who goes by NOWHERE MAN on Facebook. He is THIRTY YEARS OLD and attends SCA events, attends anime conventions, and hangs out in the Delmar Loop. He is POTENTIALLY ARMED and owns an assortment of weapons including KNIVES, BOWS, SWORDS, DAGGERS, ETC. He is a GUN RIGHTS ACTIVIST and I have reason to believe he OWNS SEVERAL FIREARMS. He drives a CAR and a MOTORCYCLE.

This past weekend at Anime St. Louis I made the mistake of letting this guy stay in a room I had available. During the convention he sexually harassed NO FEWER THAN THREE TEENAGERS. His targets seem to be 16-18 YEAR OLD CISGIRLS, TRANSGUYS, OR ANDROGYNOUS PEOPLE, particularly those who are THIN ENOUGH THAT HE COULD OVERPOWER THEM.

He has been STALKING one person since JANUARY, including sending them harassing messages, telling others that they are dating and referring to them as both his girlfriend and his “ex,” using emotional manipulation to convince them not to tell anyone, and then CLAIMING THAT THEIR FATHER THREATENED TO KILL HIM when all that was said was to basically stay the fuck away from his kid. He spent half the convention crying to us about how he is HEARTBROKEN that the teenager he’s stalking IS DATING SOMEONE ELSE.

He took TWO DIFFERENT GIRLS to his [my] hotel room, that he was SHARING WITH MY TWO COWORKERS, and fucked them both while my coworkers were at the con doing filming work — essentially ALLOWING TWO STRANGERS INTO A ROOM WITH OUR CAMERA EQUIPMENT.

He FELT UP A TEENAGER’S THIGH AND GRINDED UP AGAINST HER during the Saturday night rave/dance and WOULD NOT STOP WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE.

He REFUSED TO STOP TOUCHING/POKING/HUGGING my 17 year old friend and got REALLY WHINY when we told him to FUCKING STOP IT.

Please stay the fuck away from him. If he so much as sets foot ANYWHERE the fuck near Promstuck I will CALL THE GODDAMN COPS.

Please, please, if your parents are willing to come help chaperone promstuck and be security, I need their help.

Can Town is a safe space. This is absolutely beyond unacceptable and he will not be allowed anywhere near our space.

It’s NDBE (National Dental Board Exam) season, which means that a lot of dental schools (including mine!) are looking for patients. If you need dental care, this is the best possible time to go to a dental school for work. Patients at my school get their work done for free and get given extra credit at the school for work to be done later. I’m sure that other schools give a similar deal. (Everyone wants their students to graduate.)

Not all areas take the NDBE, but I know that a lot do, so if you need a cleaning or you have any cavities that need to get taken care of, you might want to drop by a school and see if they want you. It’ll probably be pretty obvious if they do; my school is opening up extra days to screen new patients for the board and they’re ready to bend head over heels to get people in.
